Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Bromley

Zizzi's

11-13 Widmore Rd, Bromley BR1 1RL, UK – 020 8464 6663

The waitress was really hospitable, and the food was really tasted like authentic Italian cuisine. Our waitress Eduarda as the only one waiting the tables and she managed to speak to us and makes us feel welcomed. The bar staff at the time was very efficient and made a range of drinks in a short space of time. We'll be back.

The staff is friendly and normally the food comes out fairly quickly. Over the years however, Zizzi has been getting worse. Keep cutting portions while increasing prices. The kids menu used to be a good deal years back but has become a joke. My kids order now a normal plate in the rare occasions we go there. Also find the menu selection rather boring.

Giraffe

Queen's Garde, intu Bromley Shopping Centre, High Road, Bromley BR1 1DN, UK – 020 8460 3044

I went for dinner and drinks with a friend on a Saturday afternoon. The staff were very welcoming and the service was good. The food was nice. We had falafel & hallumi with sweet potatoes, beer, coffee and cocktails. All was very good. I give it a 4 star because it was quite loud due to a small kid' s birthday party and we had to shout to hear each other. Very pleasant evening all in all.

Have been to other Giraffe restaurants however my experience at this one was exceptional, great staff and decent food. Were also told that all cocktails were a fiver which was perfect for us Great addition to Bromley

Havet Restaurant

195-197 High St, Bromley BR1 1NN, UK – 020 8290 6717

Should have be 5 star but reluctantly reduced to 4 star. I have been to this restaurant over a dozen times in 12 months usually with a group of 3 other friends. The food is excellent and good value for money. The waiters are always cheerful and helpful even during busy periods. The restaurant also has a loyalty card which entitles the user 10% discount or loyalty points depending on the time of the day. However there is a flaw in the advance booking service whether done online or in person. I have been told on several occasions by a senior team member that if I want to book a booth I must do this in advance. However when you arrive this is often denied depending who is in charge. This post will be updated after my next visit.

My sister is a regular at this restaurant and has been raving about it for a while. I have to say that I was really impressed with the food, service and general ambiance. The. Main standout for me though was the carrot chilli sauce! Beautiful!
